I wish to photograph you and those you love not as seen by ones self, but as seen in the minds of those who love them, and as they are seen by the soul of the universe. Not all of their imperfections, as the sum of their parts, or as they might appear under a microscope, but as the life-force, power, and spirit that they are, and in that special place of memory for everyone to hold and behold. That they may accept, appreciate, and love themselves. That they may embrace their power, energy, and perfect imperfections. And that it may remind them of the precious time together.
